Just a hunch, but did Rise ever get back to you or did she immediately decline?
[Because as of late, it did seem like that girl had been making a lot of hints about setting him and Naoto up. Which would be awesome! But she also seemed like the kind of girl that really would meddle into this. Maybe he's wrong. Maybe something else came up and this is just his wishful thinking.]
