[Kalki may have been defeated and Crystallis saved, but that doesn't mean there isn't still a need for a couple of spear-wielding cuties to do their best at protecting the people. Pyrrha had elected to stay here rather than return home, reasoning that certain plots there may collapse under their own weight without her as a lynchpin. And even though blitzball is fun, she can't fully let go of her Huntress roots, and has decided to join the military along with Eleanor to help keep the people safe.
It's just after their morning drills, and time for a bit of cooling off in the barracks. Duty has been light lately, so they've got some free time, and Pyrrha is currently using hers to get her aching feet out of her boots and give them some air. Letting out a sound precisely halfway between a sigh and a groan, she slowly flexes her toes, wincing slightly.]
Ah... I may have pushed a little too hard out there.
[The decision to stay in Crystallis had been a difficult one, but it wasn't one that Eleanor regretted. True to her nature, it wasn't long before she found herself in the army.]
[Morning drills aren't her favorite time of day, but Eleanor makes due. For being stuck in another world, she's lucky that this is the army (and these are the people) that she's stuck with.]
Me too, I'm afraid. But there's something to be said for an invigorating workout so early in the morning!
[Something Eleanor would call good, and every single other person in Crystallis would call 'awful.']
That's true. It's always good to keep your skills sharp. Thankfully it's light duty today, so we have a little time before patrols.
[Sitting back on her bedroll, Pyrrha bends her leg to rub at her sore foot. After a few moments, though, she seems to get an idea, looking back at Eleanor with a sheepish but hopeful little smile.]
...Eleanor? Would you like to give each other foot massages? It should help us stay invigorated for the rest of the day, and I think it's a good way to bond as friends and comrades at arms, so...
[She's babbling a little here. It's an embarrassing thing to ask for out of the blue like that, after all.]
Eleanor pls - AU in which they both stayed in Crystallis?
